Does anyone know if there's availability somewhere to old GSW shows? I
just finally became literate on downloading music on the net and found some
great GSW shows. I stayed up way too late last night listening to a couple
of shows.
Now, I'd love to hear some of the earlier stuff. My copy of Live at the
712 club is long gone. Anyone have that? Also, 1st time I saw GSW was at
a bar in NYC called the Pool Bar. Must have been Fall of '89. Anyone know
how to get access at any shows of that vintage?
Thanks much,
-Jud

just in case there was any doubt, I was being sarcastic. I didn't find it
funny at all. Bob.

So the June 10th Knitting Factory show was just an April Fool's joke?

BM_4_4_22Two Sets From the Future Dr. Faber
While word of a God Street Wine reunion gig ended up being an April 1 prank,
band co-founder Lo Faber <http://www.lofaber.com/>
continues to spread his wings a bit. On April 15 he will perform his
first-ever two set acoustic show at Krogh's in Sparta NJ. Looking ahead
into May, Faber will received his bachelor's degree from Skidmore
College, more than fifteen years after he first entered college at NYU
(and the aforementioned GSW temporarily led him out of academe). In
addition, Faber will begin a Ph.D. program in history at Princeton
University this coming fall.
The news of this show literally made my year and now that it's not
happening, I'm pretty, well, bummed. Is there any hope for a reunion show?
