>Did you see any tapers at the Buffalo show? =20
There were two tapers set up in the beginning. One being an Uncle Sammy =
taper (apparently the head dude when it comes to taping US) who was set =
up with his mic's practically right against the right hand stack. Never =
seen it done like that before but hell if he's "the guy" when it comes =
to taping US he must know what he's doing (hopefully). There was also =
another person who's stand I saw farther back on the right hand side but =
when I looked again his stand was gone, I have to assume he either taped =
Lo and jetted or decided instead to patch into the US guys rig..? I'm =
not sure if either actually taped LFB or if they just did US. Hopefully =
they did tape'em as it was a *hot* set!
>I have a line on a source from Erie
Who from? I've got a line on a MiniDisc SBD source, but if you can find =
better let me know. I've got his source from an earlier LFB Erie show =
(their first tour? can't remember) but apparently he's gotten much =
better at capturing the sound at the Docksiders since then.
Well, theres my first contribution to the list, now I'm just waiting for =
people I know from other lists to blatently flame this newbie ;)
While I'm at it, here's my admission for the day, I've never really =
heard much GSW. I've heard albums at friends houses before, and I've =
heard what I consider "Lo tunes" which are in fact old GSW songs at the =
LFB shows I've been so fortunate to catch but I'm pretty ignorant to his =
past. If anyone would be interested in doing a trade for some of the =
more memorable/historic GSW shows that'll give me a good background my =
list is located at http://db.etree.org/npsinboro, thanks...
Take care,
Nick
